Before you start
You will need:
- A Conigma account (sign up or log in).
- A Zoom account that you can authorize the integration with.
The Conigma app for Zoom is user-managed — it only accesses the data of the user who authorizes it, and each user connects their own Zoom account.
Adding the integration (connecting Zoom)
- Log in to Conigma.
- Go to Connectors in the left sidebar.
- Click Add, then Browse connectors.
- Search for Zoom and click Connect.
- On the Link Zoom Account prompt, click Connect — a pop-up will open (make sure your browser doesn't block pop-ups).
- You'll be taken to Zoom's authorization screen. Review the requested permissions and click Allow.
- You'll be returned to Conigma, and your Zoom account will show as Connected.
That's it — your Zoom account is now linked and ready to use in workflows.
Permissions the app requests, and why
| Permission (scope) | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
meeting:write:meeting | Create Zoom meetings on your behalf from a workflow. |
meeting:update:meeting | Update or reschedule a meeting from a workflow. |
meeting:delete:meeting | Cancel/delete a meeting from a workflow. |
meeting:read:meeting | View the details of a meeting inside Conigma. |
meeting:read:list_meetings | List your scheduled meetings inside Conigma. |
user:read:user | Read your Zoom profile to associate meetings with the correct account. |
Using the integration
Once connected, you can use Zoom actions inside Conigma's workflow builder:
- Create a meeting — Add a "Schedule Zoom Meeting" action to a workflow. When the workflow runs (for example, when a deal reaches a chosen stage), Conigma creates the Zoom meeting for you; the meeting's join link is returned and can be used in later steps (such as an email or message).
- Update or cancel a meeting — Use the update or delete actions to reschedule or remove a meeting as part of your workflow logic.
- View your meetings — Conigma can list your scheduled meetings and show meeting details within the app.
Conigma performs these actions on your behalf using the Zoom account you connected. Conigma stores only the references needed to operate the integration (such as meeting identifiers and your Zoom user ID); it does not store Zoom meeting content. Your Zoom OAuth tokens are held encrypted by Conigma's integration provider and are not stored in Conigma's own database.
Note on recording: Conigma's Calls feature can also record and transcribe meetings using a separate meeting-recording service. That capability is configured separately and is not part of the permissions this Zoom app requests.
For details on how Conigma collects, uses, shares, and retains data, see the Conigma Privacy Policy.
Removing the integration
You can disconnect Conigma from Zoom at any time, in either of two ways.
From Conigma:
- Go to Connectors in the left sidebar.
- Click Zoom in the tools list to open its details.
- Under Accounts, click the ⋯ (more) menu next to your connected Zoom account.
- Click Remove to disconnect the account.
From the Zoom App Marketplace:
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Go to Manage → Added Apps (or search for "Conigma").
- Click Conigma, then click Remove.
When you disconnect or remove the app, Conigma deletes the data associated with that connection, in line with the Conigma Privacy Policy.
